NEXA Inbound
A private, single-user tool by Emre (NEXA). Not a public service.
What it does
NEXA Inbound reads the freelance project alert emails that platforms such as Freelancer, Upwork and Contra send to the owner's own Gmail inbox. It turns each alert into a short project card (title, budget, platform and the link to the official project page) so the owner can review the project and decide himself whether to respond on the platform's own website.
How it uses Gmail
- It requests one Google permission only:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly(read-only). - It never sends, deletes, labels, archives or marks email as read, and it cannot do so with this permission.
- It only searches for messages from the official sender domains of freelance platforms. Other email is not downloaded.
- It is used only by the owner, for the owner's own Gmail account.
- It never contacts or bids on freelance platforms automatically. The owner always acts himself.
Revoking access
Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. After that, NEXA Inbound can no longer read any email.
